Legendairy Milk, Pumping Spray, 2 fl oz (59 ml)

Description

Pumping Spray, Organic Flange Lubricant

Pumping shouldn't have to mean chafing or dragging skin every time you attach your flanges. Pumping Spray by Legendairy Milk is an organic, lanolin-free spray designed to reduce friction and moisturise skin during pumping sessions, so the flange glides rather than tugs. A lot of pumping parents reach for lanolin based creams for this, but lanolin isn't suitable for everyone, particularly if you have a wool allergy, which is part of why this spray was formulated without it.

What's Inside

The formula is simple: organic fractionated coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic sunflower seed oil and organic cocoa seed butter. There's no lanolin, parabens, petrolatum or synthetic fragrance, and the whole spray is certified organic by QAI, vegan, kosher, halal, non-GMO and gluten-free. Coconut oil, olive oil and sunflower seed oil are all common food-grade emollients, and cocoa seed butter adds a bit more richness to help condition the skin around the areola without leaving things overly greasy.

How to Use It

To use, gently shake the bottle and spray each flange once, about 1 to 2 inches away, to create a light mist before you start pumping. Wipe off the nozzle or rinse it under warm water between uses to keep the spray performing well. A quick spray before each session takes only a few seconds, but it can make a noticeable difference over several pumps a day, especially in the early weeks when you might be pumping frequently while your supply and routine are still settling in. Because it's an oil-based product, it can stain fabric, so it's worth being mindful of what it might drip onto, and it works best used at room temperature, since it can thin out in warmer conditions.

What This Spray Is and Isn't

It's worth being clear about what this product is and isn't. Pumping Spray is designed to reduce friction and add comfort, but it's not a substitute for properly fitted flanges, which are the biggest factor in pumping comfort overall. If you're experiencing ongoing nipple pain or damage, that's worth raising with a lactation consultant or your doctor rather than relying on a spray alone, since flange sizing or latch issues are often the underlying cause.

Keep out of reach of children, and discontinue use if any hypersensitivity occurs. Store in a cool, dry place above 50°F (10°C) and keep the lid tightly closed.
