Iron is one of the nutrients parents are commonly asked to keep an eye on once a baby moves past six months, since a baby's natural iron stores from birth start to decline around this age and solid foods don't always fill the gap straight away. What's Inside
The formula is simple: iron as polysaccharide iron complex, organic glycerin, purified water and organic cherry flavour, with no added sugar, gluten, dairy, soy or synthetic dyes. It's vegan, kosher, halal, non-GMO and fenugreek-free.
Dosing by Age

4 to 12 months: 1 mL once daily, providing 10 mg elemental iron (91% of the daily value for this age group)

Shake well before use, then use the included syringe with the self-sealing adapter to draw up the dose. Dispense the liquid slowly toward your child's inner cheek, and hand wash and air dry the syringe after each use. One 2 fl oz (60 mL) bottle provides 60 infant servings or 120 toddler servings.
Important Safety Information
Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product well out of reach of children, and in case of accidental overdose, call your doctor or the Poisons Information Centre immediately. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting iron drops, especially if your baby already takes a multivitamin, since some formulas already include iron. Discontinue use if any hypersensitivity occurs, and note the drops may temporarily discolour your child's mouth or stain clothing.
